In 2006 the regulations changed from the fire brigade inspecting and checking for adequate fire safety, to that of the responsibility of the owners to organise.

At Blackhills we talked about it, tried to persuade a leader (whom had experience) to do it, but finally entrusted the work to a professional Company.

 

They undertook the survey earlier this year at a very, very favourable rate and produced a comprehensive report with a few recommendations for us to arrange to action. 

 

They offered us an extremely good price for our annual fire extinguisher service (please note this is different to the risk assessment survey & shouldn’t be confused as the same) and also to ‘put right' any signage, extra extinguishers etc. highlighted in the report.

 

In fact we saved over £120 on our previous supplier (whom we always thought had done a good deal).
